As part of the ongoing expansion of our machinery, we purchased a new band saw, which went into operation in early July.
In mid-June, the newly acquired i-cut P50 waterjet cutting system from TeenKing was put into operation at RK-tec in Aiterhofen. The machine has a working range of 3,000 x 1,500 mm and can cut a wide variety of materials—such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, plastics, glass, Plexiglas, etc.—up to a thickness of more than 100 mm.
On Monday, May 17, 2021, our new indoor crane for the contract manufacturing division was delivered, installed, and put into operation.
In December 2020, the municipality of Aiterhofen published the first issue of its community newsletter, “Dahoam in der Gemeinde Aiterhofen.”

In January 2021, the surveillance audits for our quality management system (ISO 9001) and environmental management system (ISO 14001) took place.
RK-tec’s machine fleet was expanded in early December 2020 with the addition of a new milling machine. The DMF 180 milling machine from DMG MORI allows us to work even more precisely and quickly. Key features of the new machine include:
