RK-tec’s machine fleet was expanded in early December 2020 with the addition of a new milling machine. The DMF 180 milling machine from DMG MORI allows us to work even more precisely and quickly. Key features of the new machine include:
- 5-Axis Simultaneous Milling
- Maximum travel ranges: X-axis 1,800 mm ▪ Y-axis 700 mm ▪ Z-axis 700 mm
- Tool magazine for 120 tools
To further optimize the performance of our machinery, we have also purchased a Power Clamp Economic Plus NG shrink-fit device and a UNO premium tool presetter, both manufactured by Haimer. These devices enable us to position tools with even greater precision, extend the service life of our tools, and machine workpieces with greater accuracy.
