Following RK-tec Klostermeier Maschinenbau e.K.’s move from Straubing to Aiterhofen in 2019, the new facility was officially opened on October 2, 2020, after nearly a year of renovation work.
The opening ceremony, which was held in strict compliance with COVID-19 regulations, was attended by, among others, Josef Zellmeier (Member of the State Parliament), Josef Laumer (District Administrator of the Straubing-Bogen District), Martin Köck (Economic Affairs Officer at the District Office), Adalbert Hösl (Mayor of the Municipality of Aiterhofen), Manfred Engl (Deputy Mayor), and Ms. Heike Kattler (Third Deputy Mayor), who congratulated company owner Richard Klostermeier on the opening of the facility, as well as on his long and successful career as an entrepreneur and the company’s very positive growth.
The renovations included refurbishment and modernization of the production facilities, as well as the construction of new office, meeting, and break rooms. The production and office space now covers more than 2,500 m² of a total floor area of 6,700 m² and provides optimal conditions for the continued successful fulfillment of customer orders.
RK-tec Klostermeier Maschinenbau e.K. now employs 25 highly motivated employees and specializes in carrying out challenging projects in the fields of custom machine and plant construction, automation technology, material handling, engineering, and contract manufacturing.
