At the end of June, the 2025 State Association Conference of the Bavarian Metal Industry Association took place in Erlangen.
As an employers' association, the Bavarian Metal Industry Association represents the interests of all small and medium-sized enterprises—including those in the metal fabrication trade—that are organized within Bavarian guilds.
With numerous expert presentations and panel discussions, the state association conference offered participants a wide range of opportunities to learn about the latest developments in the metal industry. A comprehensive and varied supporting program provided opportunities for networking and getting to know one another, and, last but not least, for exploring the beautiful city of Erlangen.
As part of the recent board elections, RK-tec founder and owner Richard Klostermeier was elected district master craftsman and will thus represent the Lower Bavaria district on the state board for the next five years.
In addition, Richard Klostermeier has been a member of the journeyman’s examination boards of the Lower Bavaria-Upper Palatinate Chamber of Crafts for many years, overseeing the apprenticeship programs for precision machinists and machining technicians.
We are proud of our boss and his volunteer work, which certainly isn’t something to be taken for granted these days. In our opinion, getting personally involved in clubs and organizations contributes significantly to strengthening our society.
