This week, we had two employees whose 10-year company anniversaries we got to celebrate! That's great!
Hubert joined our company on June 1, 2014, and can confidently (and with a slight wink) be described as a jack-of-all-trades. Hubert has seen it all in his professional career and, on top of that, knows a great deal about just about everything. Although he’s retired and works “only” as a temporary helper, he’s still indispensable to us. His responsibilities include everything that comes up in production: driving duties, repair and maintenance tasks, janitorial work, major and minor renovations, masonry and tiling work, and so on and so forth…
Hubert’s experience and expertise were invaluable, especially during our move to Aiterhofen in 2018 and 2019, when we renovated the warehouse and built our offices. Hubert approaches every task thoughtfully and, above all, carefully considers the execution in advance. This inevitably leads to the successful completion of his projects. That’s exactly how it should be.
His hobbies are as varied as his talents: naturally, his family—including his two grandchildren—comes first. In his personal life, he’s also an avid handyman who keeps his house and yard in good shape. To unwind, he enjoys going on well-deserved vacations with his wife, Rose. And he’s certainly not averse to a cozy get-together either.
Just one day later, on June 2, 2014, Harry joined RK-tec as another very important employee. Harry works as a CNC miller in contract manufacturing, where his experience allows him to handle all key tasks. He primarily mills even the most complicated parts with ease, enthusiastically creates complex CAM programs, and is constantly refining the most efficient manufacturing methods. His extensive experience and dedication are simply unmatched.
Harry is always calm and has a naturally even-tempered disposition. What a lucky guy! With his pleasant demeanor, he’s a popular go-to person among all his colleagues and is often the subject of deep conversations.
For Harry, too, family—his wife and two children—comes first and foremost. As an ambitious amateur photographer, he always has his camera and extensive gear on hand. He finds his favorite subjects in nature and technology, but also as a passionate—and almost officially recognized—court photographer for the “Blues Briederchen” and other live musical acts. Our Harry doesn’t drink much beer. That’s understandable once you’ve discovered whiskey and its subtle nuances for yourself.
Hubert and Harry, thank you so much for your great work and your many years of loyalty! We hope you’ll stay with us for a long time to come. Above all, that requires good health. Hopefully, everything else will fall into place on its own!
